Get your first pull request.

Setup takes a couple of minutes. Connect a repository, point uptodate at your docs, and let it watch what you merge.

01

Install the GitHub App

Connect uptodate to the repository you want to keep in sync. The app asks only for the access it needs to read your code and open pull requests.

02

Point it at your docs folder

Tell uptodate where your Markdown and MDX files live. Everything outside that folder is treated as code to watch for changes.

03

Choose how often it checks

Weekly for docs that change slowly, or daily for teams that ship every day. You can also run a check by hand any time with Analyze now.

04

Review the pull request

When a change makes a page inaccurate, uptodate drafts the edit and opens a PR. Read the diff, merge what you want, and your published docs update the moment you do.
